This survey has been put together by the curators of the Eccles Institute for the Americas and Oceania at the British Library. We want to know how the British Library’s collections, research and engagement programmes and services are used by researchers like you, and what’s missing. Please be honest; we’re listening.
The Eccles Institute builds, curates and preserves the Americas and Oceania collection at the British Library. We also aim to champion knowledge and understanding of these regions through a rich programme of fellowships and awards, cultural events, research training, guides to the collections and programmes for schools.
The British Library is the national library of the UK. Our shelves hold over 170 million items – a living collection that gets bigger every day. Although our roots extend back centuries, we collect everything written today, tomorrow, and decades into the future.
