SHAW Steering Committee Vacancies 2025

The Society for the History of Women in the Americas (SHAW) is a diverse scholarly association dedicated to the historical investigation related to the history of women and gender non-conforming individuals in the Americas. SHAW invites expressions of interest to join its steering committee.

We welcome the following expressions of interest for the vacancies below:

ECR Representative– VACANCY

Treasurer – VACANCY

Membership Secretary – VACANCY

If multiple nominations are received for any post, an online election will be held on 28th February 2025. The new Committee’s terms will commence 3rd March 2025.

To nominate yourself for a post on the Committee, please complete the attached form and submit it to SHAW chair (o.wright@leedsbeckett.ac.uk) by Friday 7th February.

Role Requirements:

All postholders are expected to attend quarterly online committee meetings and to attend the in person annual conference held in early July.

The post will have a tenure of three years.

Job sharing will be considered for these roles if requested.
