We’re looking for a PG student, or students, to organise our next PG conference. It’s a brilliant opportunity, with lots of support from the BAAS conferences team. Get in touch if you’re interested! https://t.co/gd5s1rKcJ1
@catbateson @baas_2020 Thanks for your kind words, Cat. It is such a massive disappointment for all of us. But it feels like the only sensible thing to do in the circumstances. The health and well-being of our community, friends and family is the most important thing.
We are exploring options to find an afterlife for the conference. We will be in touch with delegates again shortly. 2/2
//UPDATE// Due to the volatile situation around COVID-19, BAAS has taken the sad decision to cancel our 2020 conference. Huge thanks to @hering_david & colleagues at Liverpool for 3.5 years of hard work. We know how disappointing this is for delegates too. 1/2
The well-being of conference attendees, as well as local support staff, remains our biggest concern. We will continue to weigh up the options and will provide a further update shortly. 2/2
