Are you interested in joining the Native Hawai’i Fiction and Poetry Reading Group hosted by CISCS?
This academic year, the group will meet online once per month to discuss a range of texts from various Native Hawai’ian authors published in 2023, 2024, or 2025. No prior knowledge of Indigenous Studies/Literature is required, and the group is open to everyone in- and outside of academia.
The group will meet for the first time on Friday 28th November, 6pm GMT, to discuss Hula (2023) by Jasmin Iolani Hakes. This discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Shelley Angelie Saggar (Goldsmiths University).
