Presentations should focus on the issues addressed and hypotheses tested in the dissertation, the results obtained so far, and, above all, the methodology applied, with the aim of receiving feedback from peers and established scholars in the field. Each presentation will last 10-15 minutes, followed by discussion. Presentation at the seminar will not exclude participation in the SAAS Conference the following year.
Proposals should be sent to saasyoungscholars@gmail.com by December 15, 2025 and must include:
1. A summary of the project (up to 350 words), indicating the thesis and topics addressed, the methodology (theoretical tools), the corpus under consideration, and the results so far obtained.
2. A short bio note (up to 150 words) including institutional affiliation and contact information.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance by January 15, 2026. MA and first-year Ph.D. students should indicate “SAAS YS’ Félix Martín Doctoral Seminar – Morning Song session” in the subject line and follow the same guidelines mentioned above.
