It’s time to celebrate the BAAS award winners!

Please join us for a joyous digital award ceremony on Friday 11 April at 4pm hosted by the BAAS award subcommittee (Catherine Armstrong, Michael Docherty, Sarah Thelen, Rachel Williams, and John Wills).

We will reveal the names of the winners in all our categories—from best book to best school essay and everything in-between— and tell you all about the research opportunities and prizes that BAAS offers. This will be an opportunity to celebrate the research being done in the field and give a warm send off to some of our members who have exciting research and pedagogic plans this summer!

You’re all very welcome to join us as we celebrate the winners of the 2023 awards and revel in the wonderful American Studies research being done!

The ceremony is 11 April from 4-5pm and while sequins and/or feathers aren’t required, they’ve very much encouraged!
