The Society for the History of Women in the Americas (SHAW) is a diverse scholarly association dedicated to the historical investigation related to the history of women and gender non-conforming individuals in the Americas. SHAW invites expressions of interest to join its steering committee, in advance of its upcoming elections on 1st August, 2024.

If multiple nominations are received for any post, an online election will be held on 1st August 2024. The new Committee’s terms will commence 1st September 2024.
To nominate yourself for a post on the Committee, please complete the attached form and submit it to SHAW chair (o.wright@leedsbeckett.ac.uk) by Friday 26th July.
Role Requirements:
All postholders are expected to attend quarterly online committee meetings and to attend the in person annual conference held in early July.
The post will have a tenure of three years.
Job sharing will be considered for these roles if requested.
