Description: The American Politics Group (APG) of the Political Studies Association (PSA) is the premier organisation for the study of US politics beyond America’s shores. 2024 will mark 50 years since the group was founded.
The group is based in the UK, with a strong representation of European scholars, as well as scholars from the US and further afield.
The APG invites proposals on any aspect of US politics. Papers examining contemporary US political institution or processes, US foreign policy, or US political history are all welcome.
Previous conferences have had a strong postgraduate presence, and we especially encourage early career scholars to present their work.
Please note: in addition to limited accommodation on campus, there is a Travelodge next to the university. London offers a wide variety of accommodation options.
Please direct any enquiries to the conference convenor: Richard Johnson, email@example.com.
The APG is the leading scholarly association for the study of US politics in the UK and also has members in continental Europe and the USA. Follow us on: Twitter: @PSA_APG Web: https://www.psa.ac.uk/specialist-groups/american-politics
