TASN workshop on Digital Education for American Studies

The Teaching American Studies Network (TASN) is hosting an online workshop on Digital Education on 15 June (at 2pm). And as “digital education” is incredibly broad (it’s basically any/all use of technology in teaching and learning) please use this form to let us know what topics you’re particularly interested in or any questions you might have. Sarah will use the responses to plan the session, so the more specific, the better!

For anyone interested in a more structured introduction to Digital Education, there is a 20% discount on fees for the Certificate in CPD in Digital Education at University College Cork. This is a 12-week, fully-online, level 9 programme with a focus on practical uses of digital education for teaching and learning. It includes topics such as learning design, inclusivity and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), creating multimedia materials, student engagement, group work and collaboration, assessment and feedback, and analytics. If you’d like to learn more, click here to register for the information session on 16 May at 2pm.

Please contact Sarah Thelen with questions about both the TASN event and the larger programme.
